Thanks to all those who responded to my message
regarding Freon TF. I sent the message to several
lists and got a number of good responses.
Mostly, people suggested I "go digital" and I know the
option exists, but I prefer this method of working and
have my own flatbed and dubber, whereas a super
computer with sound edit software I do not have.
Besides, as I mentioned, its a preference. Soon enough
I'd imagine I'll be forced to make a decision but
until that time I will happily work with the arcane
Does anyone know of an "environmentally friendly" (EPA
approved) chemical that replaced Freon TF for cleaning
mag tracks? I really don't handle my tracks that much
and clean my hand often so its not a huge problem
though I'm curious to know if something out there
exists. Chemtronic's? Or a company like Chemtronic?
