Well IBM is spreading its FUD well.
We've been discussing this article on several lists. I think Joe
Iraci has already commented on it.
My personal experience tells me this article is wrong as I have CD-Rs
that go back to 1998 that work fine.
It irks me no end that such blatant stretching of the truth gets such
good coverage. Sure some cheap junk discs might behave this way, but
not Tayio Yudens or MAM-As.
